Biography

Member Bio: Mr. Quarmby is a law clerk to the Honorable Garrett E. Brown, Jr., Chief Judge for the District of New Jersey, and will be joining the law firm of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver and Hedges in the Fall of 2008. From 2004 to 2006, Mr. Quarmby was a litigation associate with the firm of Shearman & Sterling, LLP, where he represented large financial institutions and telecommunications companies.

In addition to being a member of the Executive Committee for the NYCLA Cyberspace Law Committee, Mr. Quarmby sits on the Executive Committee for the Information Technology Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.

Ben Quarmby is 2004 graduate of Duke Law School, where he was Senior Editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review. Mr. Quarmby has published a number of articles in the field of technology and the law, including:
