Michael Wechsler is an accomplished and successful Interent entrepreneur of over sixteen years. In addition to being an accomplished Internet attorney, Michael also has an MBA in Computer Information Systems. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of the IDT Internet Mobile Group (NYSE: IDT) where he was responsible for identifying, purchasing and growing the Zedge.net Internet and mobile web site from 7 million monthly page views to over 4 billion annually. In 1992 he founded one of the largest Macintosh-based bulletin boards, EastNet, which was featured in August 1994’s MacWorld magazine by renowned technology author, David Pogue. He also founded TheLaw.com in 1995, which was later purchased by a private investment group headed by former Mayor of New York City, the Honorable Edward I. Koch. Following the successful sale of TheLaw.com, he served for several years as Director of Legal and Business Affairs at iVillage.com, which was purchased in 2006 for $600 million and now a highly visible component of NBC Universal. Michael has experience being involved in every phase of the construction of Internet and mobile web sites, from startups to top tier efforts. |
