Biography
| Member Bio: | J. Patrick DeLince is a private practitioner with his own law firm, DeLince Law PLLC. Mr. DeLince’s practice concentrates on employment discrimination and business law matters. He is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law and has been practicing law in New York for almost two decades. Immediately prior to the establishment of his own practice, he managed the New York branch office of the French law firm of Thieffry & Associes, for which he advised American subsidiaries of French companies doing business in the United States. He has also previously worked as a Senior Staff Counsel at Tutoki & Levy, an of counsel firm to ITT Hartford. Mr. DeLince has served on the Executive Committee of the New York County Lawyer’s Association’s (“NYCLA”) Cyberspace Law Committee since 2000, during the Internet’s developmental years. He serves on NYCLA’s Panel of Mediators and Arbitrators for Fee Disputes & Conciliation. He also currently serves on the Board of National Employment Lawyers Association, New York Chapter (“NELA”) and as a member of its Judiciary Committee. He is the present Chair of NELA’s E-Discovery Committee. As Chair of the Cyberspace Law Committee, Mr. DeLince’s interests include continuing to help develop and present cutting edge issues affecting the Internet and new media to NYCLA’s membership and the public at large. He plans to accomplish his goals by developing and implementing creative new programs as well as by working to increase membership and to promote interest in Internet technology, which has an impact upon all areas of the law. |
